How's Your News?
Post*Records Newsletter
Week of March 12, 2007

Hey friends!

There are many many new things happening here at Post*Records. Most of it is thanks to your support...so, thank you! As you probably know, we just released Sean Moore's debut "Signs of Potential Life" and it is doing so well. Just before that, we released Kingsbury's first full-length "The Great Compromise" and they are gearing up for tour in early June.

Here's a quick update on us here at Post:

Moshii Moshii?!>
The Bad Spellers made a record in the faraway land of Tokyo and we are releasing it March 27. The album is called "Keep On Shining". It features 7 new songs and 2 new recordings of past favorites "Girls Say Moshii" and "We Don't Like To Swim".

What about a wild cd par-tay, you ask?? I'm so glad you mentioned it! We are having a cd release party in mid-April right in Orlando, FL and The Bad Spellers will perform "sort of life, almost via satellite" along with some great indie pop bands. It will be a night of good times and your first chance to see The Bad Spellers perform in Florida (almost).

Check out some of their new music at www.myspace.com/thebadspellers

3 bands in a van tour 2007>
Yeah, we've got tour dates! Sean Moore will be touring in support of his new album "Signs of Potential Life" and the super improved and high-octane saccharine sweet band known as Mumpsy will be out to support their upcoming ep "3 People".

Mumpsy and Sean Moore are going on the road and they're bringing their good pals Dodger along for the fun.

The tour will go up the east coast and back down to the hot and balmy sunshine state.

Signs of Potential Life>
Sean Moore....he's a wildman, but we love him anyway. The new album just came out a few weeks ago, and response has been great from fans and press alike. It seems like new reviews, interviews, and other stories are coming out every day and we're so proud of our little "Seanie Bear" (that's what we all call him here at the office...don't say it in public, he has a tough guy image to uphold).

Sean's music has been compared to everyone from Sufjan Stevens to Brian Wilson to God.
But, judge for yourself. Visit his myspace today and then get the album at www.post-records.com

Mumpsy Time>
Ok, it's almost Mumpsy time. The new Mumpsy EP, "3 People", comes out April 10th with a big cd release party at BackBooth in Orlando, FL. Besides Mumpsy, a bunch of other guests will perform too!

"3 People" is a dance party with all the elements that make life fun and miserable. You don't wanna miss that! Visit www.myspace.com/mumpsy to hear some of the new songs now and be sure to get your album on April 10th in the Post*Records Shop.

Stone Soup>
We're releasing a new compilation album with our friends at Nonsense Records and Pinky Ring Records. It's called "Stone Soup" and it comes out in May.

Nonsense Records is a hip hop label know for artists like X144 & SPS, Sol.illaquists of Sound, S.K.I.P, Mad Illz, and many more. Pinky Ring Records is bridging the gap between hardcore punk and hip hop with acts like Nervous Breakdown, Winch Mob, and Reign of Terror. We will be putting our stuff together to release a new album featuring artists from all 3 labels!

And we are having a huge cd release show! Very huge and still very top secret...more news on that soon.

Thanks again for all your support.

Remember to pick up all the new music at www.post-records.com.

Have a great week.
Support your music scene.
